In the vicinity there are numerous famous castles, among others the castles in Vianden, Bourscheid and Beaufort. The cities of Clervaux, Vianden, Echternach and Diekirch are worth a visit.

LUXEMBOURG CITY

In 2007 the city Luxembourg was again declared the cultural center of Europe.

This ancient city has many landmark buildings and offers a broad cultural life. Being the capital of the country it offers great shopping centers. Some of the highlights are the Kazamatten, the old city in the valley, the tourist train and a number of museums.
